Footbridge

As TheChieftess noticed, this is the same bridge that features in my icon above.  I thought I might add a bit of background. 
When I took the original photo the bridge was a very attractive but totally impractical steep arch.  It leads from the town to the play park and shore, and children's buggies couldn't use it.  It was so steep that in rainy weather I almost needed climbing gear to cross it!  It was totally unusable in snow or frost. 
It has since, as you can see been adapted, the approach raised and lengthened.  It is now very much easier to use.

Doorway

This was an arched entrance to the courtyard of an old hotel,which seems to be undergoing renovation.  The rusted iron gate has been removed  and replaced by a beautifully-painted doorway.  The painting is so skillful that the scene appears real from all angles.
